This policy explains what personal data Morocco Golf Breaks collects when you use moroccogolfbreaks.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and the rights you have. We only collect what we need to answer your enquiries and organise your golf holiday.

We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
2. The data we collect
Information you give us
- Booking and golf pass requests: your name, email, phone number, the package or pass you are interested in, arrival or first-round date, number of golfers and non-golfers, room preference, handicap level, accommodation and transfer needs, requested extras and your message.
- Contact and excursion requests: your name, email, subject, preferred date, number of people and message.
- Newsletter: your email address.
- When you book: the details needed to make your reservations, such as the names of each traveller (tee times and golf passes are issued in the golfer's name) and travel dates.
Please do not send sensitive information (such as health data or payment card numbers) through our forms.
Information collected automatically
- With each form submission: your IP address, approximate location (city and country, derived from the IP address), browser type and the page you sent the form from. We use these to handle your request and to detect spam.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, time on site, device and browser type, approximate location and how you arrived. Only with your consent (see section 6).
- Usage recordings: we use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use our pages — clicks, scrolling and anonymised session replays — so we can improve the site. By default Clarity masks what you type into form fields. Only with your consent (see section 6).
- Advertising measurement: when we advertise with Google Ads, and only if you accept marketing cookies, Google Ads records which ad brought you to the site and whether you then sent us an enquiry. With that consent, the email address and phone number you enter in a form are also sent to Google in a one-way scrambled (hashed) form, so Google can match the enquiry to an ad click ("enhanced conversions").
- Cookie-free statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and page-load speed without cookies and without identifying you.
- Technical logs: our hosting provider processes your IP address and request details to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
3. Why we use your data
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote — because you asked us to (steps taken at your request before a contract).
- To organise and manage your booking — reserving hotels, tee times, golf passes, transfers and excursions (performance of our contract with you).
- To send our newsletter — only if you subscribed (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- To measure and improve the site with Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — only with your consent.
- To measure and improve our advertising with Google Ads, and to show our ads to people who have visited the site — only with your consent to marketing cookies.
- To keep the site secure, fast and free of spam, including cookie-free statistics (our legitimate interests).
- To meet legal obligations, such as accounting and tax record-keeping.
4. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Travel suppliers needed to deliver your trip — hotels and riads, golf clubs, transfer and excursion providers — limited to the details they need (for example, the golfer's name for a tee time).
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts the website, protects it from attacks, processes form submissions and provides cookie-free Web Analytics and network-error reports.
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) — delivers form submissions to our team by email.
- Our email hosting provider — stores the emails we receive and send.
- Google — Google Analytics (site statistics, with your consent), Google Ads (advertising measurement and remarketing, with your consent) and Google Fonts (the site's typefaces are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address).
- Microsoft — Microsoft Clarity (usage analytics and session replays, with your consent).
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
The share buttons on our blog are plain links to Facebook, X and LinkedIn: nothing is sent to those networks unless you click them.
5. International transfers
Some of the providers above process data outside Morocco and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Cookies and your choice
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies — separately, or both at once. Nothing optional is stored on your device until you choose. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page; if you withdraw consent we stop analytics and delete its cookies.
- Strictly necessary (always on): your cookie choice itself, saved in your browser's local storage for 12 months.
- Analytics (only if you accept): Google Analytics (
_ga,_ga_*) and Microsoft Clarity (_clck,_clsk) to distinguish visitors and sessions. - Marketing (only if you accept): Google Ads cookies (such as
_gcl_au, and Google's own advertising cookies) to measure which ads lead to enquiries and to show our ads to past visitors. Without this consent, Google Ads only receives anonymous, cookieless signals. Microsoft Clarity never uses advertising storage.
We use Google Consent Mode: until you accept, Google Analytics and Google Ads may receive basic, cookieless signals (for example, that a page was viewed, or the ad-click identifier in the page address) that cannot be linked to you. Cloudflare Web Analytics never uses cookies. You can also block cookies in your browser, or opt out of Google Analytics everywhere with Google's browser add-on. The site works the same whatever you choose.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to a booking: as long as needed to answer and follow up, then deleted.
- Bookings: for the period required by Moroccan accounting and tax law.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics and advertising: according to our Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Google Ads retention settings.
8. Your rights
Under Moroccan Law 09-08 on the protection of personal data and, for visitors in the EU or UK, the GDPR, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, receive a copy of it, and withdraw your consent at any time (for example, to the newsletter).
To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the Moroccan data protection authority, the CNDP (cndp.ma), or to the data protection authority in your own country.
9. Security
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, forms are protected against spam, and access to enquiry emails is limited to our team. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
10. Children
Our services are aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 without a parent's or guardian's involvement.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
