This policy explains what personal data Morocco Golf Breaks collects when you use moroccogolfbreaks.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and the rights you have. We only collect what we need to answer your enquiries and organise your golf holiday.

We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
2. The data we collect
Information you give us
- Booking and golf pass requests: your name, email, phone number, the package or pass you are interested in, arrival or first-round date, number of golfers and non-golfers, room preference, handicap level, accommodation and transfer needs, requested extras and your message.
- Contact and excursion requests: your name, email, subject, preferred date, number of people and message.
- Newsletter: your email address.
- When you book: the details needed to make your reservations, such as the names of each traveller (tee times and golf passes are issued in the golfer's name) and travel dates.
Please do not send sensitive information (such as health data or payment card numbers) through our forms.
Information collected automatically
- With each form submission: your IP address, approximate location (city and country, derived from the IP address), browser type and the page you sent the form from. We use these to handle your request and to detect spam.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, time on site, device and browser type, approximate location and how you arrived. Google Analytics uses cookies (see section 6).
- Usage recordings: we use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use our pages — clicks, scrolling and anonymised session replays — so we can improve the site. By default Clarity masks what you type into form fields; it uses cookies (see section 6).
- Technical logs: our hosting provider processes your IP address and request details to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
3. Why we use your data
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote — because you asked us to (steps taken at your request before a contract).
- To organise and manage your booking — reserving hotels, tee times, golf passes, transfers and excursions (performance of our contract with you).
- To send our newsletter — only if you subscribed (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- To measure and improve the site and to keep it secure and free of spam (our legitimate interests).
- To meet legal obligations, such as accounting and tax record-keeping.
4. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Travel suppliers needed to deliver your trip — hotels and riads, golf clubs, transfer and excursion providers — limited to the details they need (for example, the golfer's name for a tee time).
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts the website, protects it from attacks and processes form submissions.
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) — delivers form submissions to our team by email.
- Our email hosting provider — stores the emails we receive and send.
- Google — Google Analytics (site statistics) and Google Fonts (the site's typefaces are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address).
- Microsoft — Microsoft Clarity (usage analytics and session replays).
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
The share buttons on our blog are plain links to Facebook, X and LinkedIn: nothing is sent to those networks unless you click them.
5. International transfers
Some of the providers above process data outside Morocco and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Cookies
We do not use advertising cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga and
_ga_*) and Microsoft Clarity sets cookies (such as _clck and _clsk) to
distinguish visitors and sessions. You can block or delete cookies in your browser
settings, or opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google's
browser add-on. Blocking them does not
affect how the site works.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to a booking: as long as needed to answer and follow up, then deleted.
- Bookings: for the period required by Moroccan accounting and tax law.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics: according to our Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity retention settings.
8. Your rights
Under Moroccan Law 09-08 on the protection of personal data and, for visitors in the EU or UK, the GDPR, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, receive a copy of it, and withdraw your consent at any time (for example, to the newsletter).
To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the Moroccan data protection authority, the CNDP (cndp.ma), or to the data protection authority in your own country.
9. Security
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, forms are protected against spam, and access to enquiry emails is limited to our team. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
10. Children
Our services are aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 without a parent's or guardian's involvement.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
