Dinner Fantasia at Chez Ali

Marrakech's Iconic Gardens

The Majorelle Garden, created in 1924, is a masterpiece of botanical design with cobalt-blue walls and rare plants, and houses a museum dedicated to Amazigh (Berber) culture as well as the Yves Saint Laurent Museum. The 12th-century Menara Garden centres on a large reflective pond framed by a striking pavilion and surrounded by vast olive groves, with views over the High Atlas. The Agdal Garden, also from the 12th century, is the oldest and most expansive — a UNESCO-listed orchard of pomegranate, orange and olive trees irrigated by an ancient system of reservoirs and canals.

* The Yves Saint Laurent Museum is closed every Wednesday. Certain areas of Agdal may be closed due to their proximity to the Royal Palace.
